Welcome & Happy Reading ;)

As we all know Lisa and I live a little far away from everyone and have been trying to figure out a way to keep everyone up to date with our lives here and the cute things that the babies do as they grow up and get older. Also I think it'll be a good way to keep all this together and can come back here anytime to see pictures or watch some videos over and over again. We would like to keep this blog so we can enjoy the precious times we have and be able to share it with all of you.

So I'll start this off with giving a little description of each member of our family ......

The Dog (Pepper)

Our dog is a cross between a French Bulldog & Pug.
DON"T LET THE CUTENESS FOOL YOU !!
She's hyper and LOVES to greet people by jumping when they come around. She likes to eat pretty much anything she can get her teeth on and will always remind us if we left a shoe out when we go to work by eating and slobbering all over it. She has a stubborn attitude and you can always find her near Brook's feet when there is some food around. It is kinda nice that we never have to pick up "droppings" from our baby girl but it is annoying that the dog will watch her like a hawk. That's something we are going to try and  train her out of but so far it's a failing attempt. On the brighter side she is pretty darn cute and listens for the most part. We can leave her out of her cage all day and and she has free range in the backyard. She entertains Brook-Lynn and lets her do what ever she wants to her, like sitting on her and stealing her dog bone and then running away giggling. I'll have to try and get that on video.

                Our Baby Girl - 15mths old ( Brook-Lynn Mae Tardif )

I can talk about Brook-Lynn all day. She brings such a smile to my face every day. We have started a little ritual in the mornings when Lisa is getting up and ready for work. Lisa will bring Brook in to the room and wake me up with her smiles and giggles. (OK well it doesn't always happen like that ... some days she'll just crawl up and sit on my face or climb over my head to bounce around by the headboard . Either way I just try to remember those "cute & funny" mornings.)
Brook has been in daycare for a couple months now and loves it there. She has about 9 teeth now 5 front & 4 back. Her favorite song is the "Dada" song that I taught her and lately she has been giving us "high fives" if we ask her. She talks A LOT !!! We have no idea what she is saying but I already know when she learns English words we are in trouble. This girl has a ton to say :)

Our Baby Boy ( Due Oct 5/12 )

We have been tossing names around for this little gem that we are going to be having. I'll post what we finally decide when he arrives and have a bunch of pictures to share with everyone. I think we are extremely lucky to be having a boy as now we have the best of both worlds. Lisa already bought him a Leafs jersey so there better be hockey this year !!

Mom & Dad ( Lisa Hessel & Dan Tardif )

Lisa and I have been living up in Collingwood for 3 1/2yrs now. Been together for the same and have moved into a house that hopefully 1 day we will own. Lisa works @ Blue Mountain Resort and has been there for a little over 3 yrs. I've been doing Satellite installations for BellTV as a sub-contractor for 4yrs. I love my job (most of the time) but with any job you have your ups and downs. I just wish I was more busy with this new company.
We found out we were pregnant with Brook and announced to both our families around Christmas 2010. Brook was born June 27/11.

What a change in life a baby brings ...... We wouldn't wanna change it for anything in the world.

Other than the usual poopy diapers and drool spots on your clothes on a daily basis, a baby brings a spark. No matter how bad of a day or mad you are about something a baby can always make you laugh. Well at least that's what we find with Brook-Lynn. The day is so empty when she's not around or it's not complete until you get to say Good-Night. It's so amazing how you let this little person spit their food on you or fart and stink out the whole house but you still laugh and think its kinda cute. TRUST ME !!!! If I do it Lisa doesn't think it's cute at all :). They are so pure and innocent and it's your job to teach them about life. Walk, talk, chew with your mouth closed ..... why sitting on the dog and bouncing up and down is NOT the nicest ways to play with Pepper.
Here's the proof !!

How to share and clap. How to say Mum and Dada ........... which now Brook can say DADA in a scary scratchy voice .... man she's adorable !!!

We are Mom and Dad. Two people that found each other in life and have created this amazing little girl Brook-Lynn and soon to have our new addition baby boy ;)

 Final Thoughts ....

Well I hope you enjoyed reading this and look forward to our next posts. I promise to have less words and more pictures and videos. They will be more about the babies and you can enjoy those sweet cute moments like we do everyday.

Take Care :)
